Villarreal Houston Academy Expands to Kingwood, Porter & New Caney for Spring 2026

Villarreal Houston Academy is kicking off an exciting new chapter! After six years of successfully serving families in Humble and Atascocita, the official Yellow Submarine academy of Villarreal CF is expanding its reach into Kingwood, Porter, and New Caney beginning Spring 2026. This major move will bring Villarreal’s world-renowned training methodology to even more young athletes in Northeast Houston.

A New Era of Growth in Northeast Houston

Since its arrival in the Houston area, Villarreal Houston Academy has continued to grow—developing players with a strong emphasis on technical ability, intelligent play, and personal character. The expansion into Kingwood, Porter, and New Caney marks a significant milestone for the academy as it continues its mission of providing high-quality, accessible soccer development to local families.

Starting in Spring 2026, the academy will launch brand-new teams in the 2018–2020 birth years, with additional teams and age groups added in Fall 2026. This expansion allows younger players to be part of the Villarreal development pathway from the very beginning of their soccer journey.

An Exclusive Partnership With 365 Sports Complex

This exciting growth has been made possible through a new exclusive partnership with 365 Sports Complex, located in Porter, TX. The sports complex—known for its focus on creating community—will serve as the home base for the academy’s new program.

“We are super excited about the partnership with 365 Sports Complex in Porter,” said Jennifer Coronel, Community Director for Villarreal Houston. “This unique collaboration will provide our club with access to high-quality turf fields, and we look forward to growing together as we continue serving the Kingwood, Porter, and New Caney families.”

To ensure a smooth and successful transition into the new area, Villarreal Houston Academy will be hosting tryouts and a special winter camp for interested families.

This two-day camp will help players sharpen skills, gain confidence, and get familiar with Villarreal's style of play ahead of the spring season.
