From Houston to España 🇪🇸💛 | Villarreal CF Spain Trip Recap

What a journey. What a family. What a dream come true.

This summer, over 40 families and nearly 150 people from our Villarreal Houston community made the unforgettable trip to Spain to participate in the Villarreal CF Academy Cup and the Yellow Summer Cup. The experience was more than just soccer — it was a celebration of passion, growth, unity, and international competition.

Representing Houston on the International Stage

We are incredibly proud of the teams that wore the yellow with pride:

• ⭐ 16U Boys Academy

• ⭐ 15U Girls Academy

• ⭐ 12U Boys Academy

• ⭐ 9U Boys Academy

Each team showed unmatched commitment, heart, and growth across both tournaments. While the scoreboard never tells the full story, the lessons, friendships, and experiences gained will carry far beyond the field.

Standout Achievement: 12U Boys Shine Bright 💫

A huge congratulations to our 12U Boys team, who:

• Reached the semifinals of the Yellow Summer Cup

• Finished as finalists in the Villarreal Academy Cup

This is an incredible accomplishment, and we couldn’t be prouder of their grit, focus, and teamwork.
